Privacy Policy

This page explains what information I collect through prashantwebdeveloper.in, why, and what you can do about it. I’ve kept it short on purpose. This is a portfolio and blog, not an e-commerce store or a SaaS product with user accounts.

What I collect

Usage data. Like most websites, this one logs basic visitor data automatically: browser type, approximate location, the pages you view, and how long you spend on them. This comes through standard web server logs and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, where enabled, and it’s used to understand which content is useful and fix things that aren’t working.

Contact information. If you reach out through the contact form, WhatsApp, or email, I’ll have your name, email address or phone number, and whatever you tell me about your project. I use this only to respond to you and, if we end up working together, to manage that project. I don’t add you to a mailing list or sell your details to anyone.

Cookies. This site uses cookies for basic functionality and for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site might not work as smoothly if you do, though there isn’t much here that depends on them.

Advertising and third-party tools

I may use Google services (Analytics, and at times remarketing ads) to understand site traffic and occasionally show ads to past visitors on other sites. Google’s own privacy policy governs how they handle that data. You can opt out of interest-based Google ads through Google’s Ad Settings page.

How long I keep data

Contact form and email enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle your request or an ongoing project, then deleted or archived. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the tool collecting it, which I haven’t customized beyond the defaults.

Your rights

You can ask me anytime what information I have about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Email [email protected] and I’ll sort it out directly. No ticket system, no automated response.

Children’s privacy

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone that age. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact form, email me and I’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If I change how this site handles your data, I’ll update this page and change the date at the top. I won’t quietly change the rules without telling you.
