Custom Website Development Services

Based in Kanpur, India Serving clients worldwide 10+ years experience 50+ websites delivered

I've been building websites since 2014 — not from a template, not from a page builder that bloats your site with a hundred plugins, but properly. Clean code, fast loading, built to actually rank on Google and convert the people who land on it.

Most of my clients come through referrals because the websites I build keep working for them long after the project ends. That's the standard I hold myself to. If you're looking for someone who ships and disappears, I'm probably not the right fit. But if you want someone who gives a damn about what happens after launch — read on.

What I Build

What I Build

Over the years I've built everything from a simple 5-page business site for a Kanpur-based retailer to a full B2B e-commerce platform handling thousands of product listings for an Australian client. Here's what falls under website development for me:

01.Business Websites

A professional site for your business — service pages, about, contact, testimonials, and a blog if you need one. Built to load fast, look good on mobile, and rank for the right searches. These are the sites that make clients trust you before they've even called.

02.WordPress Websites

WordPress done right — not a theme you downloaded and customised in an afternoon. I build WordPress sites that you can actually manage yourself without calling me every time you need to change a heading. Custom post types, custom plugins, WooCommerce, or a full CMS for your team.

03.E-commerce Stores

WooCommerce or custom-built stores with payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal), inventory management, order tracking, and a checkout experience that doesn't make customers drop off. Built for performance — a slow e-commerce site is a revenue leak.

04.Custom Web Applications

When your idea can't fit into a WordPress plugin or a standard template, I build it from scratch. User authentication, dashboards, admin panels, third-party API integrations, real-time features — the kind of work that needs real backend experience, not just frontend skills.

05.Website Redesigns

You already have a website but it's outdated, slow, or just not converting. I've done plenty of redesigns where the biggest win wasn't the new design — it was fixing the performance and SEO structure underneath it. A redesign done right should improve your Google rankings, not reset them.

06.Landing Pages

A focused page built for one goal — capturing leads, selling a product, or promoting a service. I keep these tight and fast. No unnecessary sections, no bloat. Just clear copy, a strong CTA, and a design that doesn't distract from the conversion.

Not sure which one you need? That's fine — most clients aren't. Tell me what you're trying to achieve and I'll suggest the right approach. No upselling, no jargon. Just a straight answer.

How I Work

My Development Process

I've seen what happens when a project starts without a clear process — scope creep, missed deadlines, a client who feels left in the dark. I run things differently. Here's exactly how a project goes from your idea to a live, working website:

1

Discovery — understanding what you actually need

We start with a call or a WhatsApp conversation where I ask questions — about your business, your customers, what you want the website to do, and what success looks like for you. This isn't a formality. The answers directly shape every decision that follows. I also look at your competitors' sites at this stage, because knowing what's already out there helps me understand what will actually make you stand out.

2

Planning — sitemap, timeline, and agreement

Before any design work starts, I put together a clear plan: what pages we're building, what functionality is included, the timeline for each stage, and the total cost. Everything is documented so there are no surprises later. If your requirements change mid-project (they often do), we handle it transparently — not buried in a contract clause.

3

Design — structure first, visuals second

I start with wireframes — the layout and structure of each page — before touching colours or fonts. This way we're agreeing on how the site works before debating what it looks like. Once the structure is signed off, I move to the visual design. You get to review and give feedback at this stage. I don't lock you out until the final reveal.

4

Development — building it properly

This is where the actual building happens. I write clean, well-structured code — the kind that's easy to maintain and extend later. SEO fundamentals are built in during development, not added as an afterthought: proper heading structure, fast loading images, schema markup, mobile responsiveness. You'll have access to a staging environment throughout so you can see progress in real time.

5

Testing — before it touches your users

I test across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile), across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), and across screen sizes. Forms get tested. Payment flows get tested. Load speed gets measured. If something breaks, I find it here — not after your customers do.

6

Launch & handover — you own what I build

Once you're happy, we go live. I handle the deployment, DNS changes, SSL setup, and any hosting configuration. After launch, I walk you through how to manage your site — updating content, adding new pages, whatever you need to run things independently. I also submit your sitemap to Google Search Console so indexing starts immediately.

My Stack

Technologies I Use

I won't blind you with a list of 40 logos. Here's what I actually use, what each one does, and why I reach for it. The technology choice always comes from what makes sense for your project — not what's trending on developer Twitter.

Laravel & PHP

Backend framework I've used since 2014. Ideal for custom web apps, APIs, complex business logic, and anything that outgrows WordPress. Fast, secure, and easy to scale.

Flutter

Cross-platform mobile development using Flutter for iOS and Android from a single codebase. Native performance, smooth animations, and full backend integration — without building two separate apps.

AI Agents & Prompt Engineering

Building task-specific AI agents using OpenAI and LangChain, combined with structured prompt engineering to reliably automate complex workflows, customer interactions, and data processing pipelines.

API Development & Third-Party Integrations

RESTful and GraphQL API design, plus deep integration experience with Google APIs, Microsoft Graph, Stripe, PayPal, Zoom, Zoho CRM, Zapier, Twilio, and more — connecting your app to the tools your business already relies on.

WordPress

The right choice for content-driven sites where you want to manage things yourself. I build custom themes and plugins — not assembled from page builders.

JavaScript (Angular)

For interactive frontend features — dynamic forms, real-time updates, dashboards. Angular keeps things fast and manageable without overcomplicating a project.

WooCommerce

E-commerce on WordPress. Handles product listings, cart, checkout, payment gateways, and order management well. Customisable when the standard setup isn't enough.

MySQL & PostgreSQL

The databases behind your website. I design schemas that perform well even as your data grows — not just something that works fine with 100 rows but breaks at 100,000.

AWS & Cloud Hosting

For sites that need reliable, scalable hosting. EC2, S3, RDS — I've set up and managed cloud infrastructure for production applications handling real traffic.

For most business websites and WordPress projects, you don't need to know or care about any of this. I pick the right stack, you get a website that works. For clients who are technical or involved in architecture decisions, I'm happy to go deeper on any of it.

The Honest Comparison

Why Hire Me Instead of an Agency

I've worked at agencies. I've led teams at tech companies. I know both sides of this comparison well, and I'll be honest with you about it.

What matters to you Working with me Working with an agency
Who actually builds your site Me. Same person from start to finish. A project manager you talk to, a developer you never meet.
Communication WhatsApp, call, email — direct. Same day responses. Ticketing systems, account managers, weekly update calls.
Cost You pay for the work. No overhead, no sales commissions. You pay for the team, the office, and the sales team too.
Speed Decisions happen fast. No internal approvals. Every change goes through a process.
Accountability If something's wrong, I fix it. No passing the blame. Support tickets, SLA timelines, escalation paths.
Experience 10+ years, including technical lead roles at companies like Cityfurnish. Varies — you might get a senior dev or a junior on their second project.

Agencies make sense when you need a full team running in parallel — designers, developers, copywriters, all at once. For most small and medium businesses, that's overkill and you end up paying for coordination overhead more than actual work. If your project needs one strong developer who takes full ownership, that's where I'm the better option.

My clients from the US, UK, and Australia specifically mention this as a reason they keep coming back — they get senior-level work without agency-level process friction. And the same goes for local clients in Kanpur. No waiting, no middlemen, no ambiguity.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the questions I actually get asked, not the ones I invented to fill a section.

It depends on what you need. A simple business website starts from around $300–$500 (roughly ₹25,000–₹42,000). A WordPress site with custom features typically falls between $500–$1,500. An e-commerce store starts from $800, and a fully custom web application can range from $2,000 to $10,000+ depending on complexity. I give a detailed quote after a free consultation — no surprise costs mid-project.

A simple business website or landing page takes 1–2 weeks. A WordPress website with custom design and features typically takes 2–4 weeks. An e-commerce store takes 3–6 weeks depending on the number of products and payment integrations. A fully custom web application or SaaS platform takes 6–12 weeks. I share a detailed timeline before starting so you always know where your project stands.

Yes. I'm based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and work with local businesses across Kanpur, Lucknow, and the wider UP region. You can reach me on WhatsApp, call me directly, or we can meet in person if needed. I also work with clients across India and internationally — the process works the same way remotely.

WordPress is right for most business websites, blogs, portfolios, and e-commerce stores where you want to manage content yourself. It's faster to build, easier to update, and has a huge ecosystem of plugins. A custom-built website makes sense when you need specific functionality that WordPress can't handle well — complex user flows, custom dashboards, heavy third-party integrations, or anything where performance is critical at scale. I'll give you an honest recommendation after understanding your goals, not just whatever costs more.

I don't hand over the project and disappear. After launch, I do a proper handover session — I walk you through how to manage your site, update content, and handle common tasks yourself. For clients who want ongoing support, I offer monthly maintenance packages that cover security updates, backups, performance monitoring, and content updates. For occasional help, I'm available on a pay-as-you-go basis too. Your site doesn't become an orphan after launch.

Yes — and I do regularly. Most of my clients are from the US, UK, and Australia. I'm comfortable with async communication across time zones, using Slack, Notion, GitHub, or whatever tools your team already uses. Payments via Wise, PayPal, or direct bank transfer. Time zone overlap with the UK is around 4–5 hours and with Australia around 3–4 hours — enough for real-time conversation when needed.
